This week was probably my least favorite of all the art experiences so far. The whole process was weird, we had to first sit on the floor with a large piece of paper between us. Then with both of our hands, we each shared the same drawing utensil to draw. The trick was that we were supposed to just sit there with our eyes closed and not move.
Sitting on the floor was very uncomfortable for me and it was hard to stay patient, especially after just coming off of 13 straight hours of traveling from upstate New York. My hands just didn’t want to move so it was frustrating because nothing really came out of it at first. Later we switched to the pink crayon and adjusted our sitting positions. After about 10 minutes, our hands started to move a little bit so I went along with it, even though it kind of felt forced and not natural in the movement.
